And you can easily download that earlier version from the Malware Bytes web
site. When installing, be sure to answer no to any request to update the
version, or else you will be right back to where you started! However, you
will receive a separate prompt about updating the definitions, and you
answer yes to that.

You can still use malwarbytes but you have togo back to version 1.75.

Why inhibit software updates? They come out with new versions because the
old one can't deal with the newest threats. It's a very good idea to
install
all available updates as soon as they're released.
