John, All microft programs run most efficiently in maxamom view. So in saying this I just start using excel and 2 tips for you are if you do f2 and you can not arrow, or if you have excel set up to give you the cell cordanances, i.e. a:1 meaning collum a and row 1 and you do not get this eather when you move between cells, the window is not maxed.
