Same problem started here after receiving the latest Windows updates. So to start Skype now I highlight the shortcut to Skype then unload JAWS and after that I press Enter on the Skype shortcut. When Skype is loaded I restart JAWS and it works. Not a good solution but guess I have to do so until next Skype or Windows updates.
