Gerardo,
Read these instructions all the way through before trying them.
1. Insert+J to open Jaws dialog.
2. Select Options, then Voices, then Adjust Voices...
3. If Eloquence isn't selected, do so, then tab through the settings,
making the appropriate voice rate adjustments.
4. Tab to Save As... and give it a name like "Slower Eloquence."
Now, you have just created a new voice profile.
To assign it to the application you want, hit Insert+Control+S while in the
desired application, and tab to the second list of profiles, selecting
"Slower Eloquence" as the desired profile for that application.
Note:
Sometimes, when you create another profile, Jaws starts using the new
settings automatically.
To reset Jaws to the original profile you had, (in your case, the Eloquence
with the faster voice rate,) go into Insert+Control+S and set Eloquence as
the default in the first list.
hth!
Thanks,
Dennis Brown

Subject: Jaws16 Can't figure it out: how to create a separate voice
profilewith Eloquence?
HI guys
OK the deal is this: Upgraded last night to Jaws16; like the changes of
the language via Windows+Control+l, but now can't figure out how to
create a separate profile so when I record podcasts, Eloquence slows
down be in English or Spanish! Any tips?
