The fn key which is to the right of your control key on the left hand side, and the escape key pressed together will change the way your function keys behave. Johna

I purchased it through our Staples store and opted for them to transfer files from my old pc, download JAWS and Microsoft Office 2010. I think all of this went farely well. My problem involves some features using JAWS16. By the way, I am using Windows 8.1. The laptop also has the desktop keyboard. There are several features using the function keys that do not seem to be working, Ex. The "insert" plus F7 for getting to links, the f12 with the "insert" for telling time etc. Also on the "numpad", I always have to turn off the "numpad on/off key.
