I understand Windows 8 has libraries, but you have to bring them out of
hiding; trouble is I don't remember how.

I have never used Windows 7 but rather jumped from XP right to Windows 8.
So I don't know if there is any similarity at all but I get to my documents
from the start menu by pressing the letter F that brings up file explorer.
After opening file explorer I arrow to the OS hard drive and click on it
then type the letter U until it takes me to the users that I click on which
takes me to the libraries. Knowing that my documents are in the library
titled Ron I click on that. This takes me to all of my folders in my
library I then click on my document folder that takes me to all of the
folders that I have created in my documents. This may seem like a long
process but I find it a very clean way to separate all of my documents in to
convenient folders!

Hi,
I gave your method a shot and was surprised where it sent me.
It sent me to "documents" alright but what I found there really did not look
like "my documents".
Strange!

The fastest way I've found to get to documents, etc. is the following:

1. Press the Windows key. Don't enter anything in the search field.

2. Right-arrow once. This takes you to a menu which, on my system, has ten
items.

3. Press d until "documents" is verbalized, then press enter. For music,
press m, and so on.

Hi. New to Windows 7 and feel lost. I think I've found that folders such
as downloads, music and videos are in a place called libraries. I'm curious
to know if there's a JAWS keystroke that will take me to the libraries
section so that I can more easily get to those folders mentioned. Thanks
for reading.
