Hi! You can go in to settings center. To do this, press insert F2 and press
the letter S til you hear settings center. Type ribbon into the search box.
If you want this for all applications though, you will want to press Control
shift D for default all applications. After you have typed ribbon into the
search box, you should check virtual ribbons. You can also enable virtual
ribbons in quick settings. Press insert V to go to quick settings.

Hi, again, everyone.
I have one more question regarding my new Windows 7 work laptop with Jaws

How do I get the virtual ribbons to be enabled, so that the ribbon options
display in a more of a vertical fashion?
Once again, I can't seem to get this to happen on the new work computer.
Here are instructions I once got from a list member:
1. Hit the Jawskey + v to get to quick settings
2. Tab once to the list of choices, and press 'v' till the checkbox for
virtual ribbon menus is displayed.
3. Check or uncheck it
4. Open the applications menu and choose whether this setting should be
permanent or temporary.
5. close the dialog.
I seem to be ok until I get to step 4, and then can't find the option to
make the change permanent.
I'm obviously doing something wrong.
