I can't speak for BurnAware, but the others you mention work fine. I was 
surprised by how many 32-bit applications that are no longer being updated 
continued to work on my 64-bit system. The larger point is that staying with 
32-bit systems will eventually hold us back. Brad's point about the increased 
memory available on 64-bit systems is crucial. JAWS, to mention just one 
application, has grown over the years, requiring more and more RAM to operate 
smoothly.

But how well does older software (32 bit) work with 64 bit versions of windows?
