Hi. Thanks for the input regarding JAWS and Magic.
I recently upgraded to ZoomText 10.1 from 9.1 and that's where the issues started. SAP worked ok with ZoomText 9.1 so the upgrade seems to be the problem. I'm ok with trying out new software even if my learning curve would be a straight vertical line! I've used JAWS in the past so it would be only Magic that would be new to me. I'm still looking for someone who has experience using JAWS or Magic with SAP specifically... Magic does web sites better than Zoom Text. Subject: RE: Using JAWS with SAP Hello, what version of Zoomtext are you running? Is it the latest version? As far as whether or not JAWS/Magic would be a better choice for you, it really depends on you the user. If you're Ok with switching to another screen magnification solution, Magic might be a good option for you. If you plan to use JAWS at all, I would suggest using Magic as well, since Freedom Scientific makes them both. You would have less chance of conflict that way. Just my two cents! -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Steele, Jo-Anne via Jfw Sent: Thursday, January 29, 2015 11:03 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Using JAWS with SAP Hi everyone! With so many users on this list, I have high hopes that someone somewhere has had experience using JAWS with SAP. I am currently using ZoomText and SAP crashes with it immediately and everything stops working. Our IT guru thinks maybe JAWS or Magic might be a better solution. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Here is what the SAP website says SAP is: "SAP software represents the terms "Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing." It is related to ERP, which is "Enterprise Resource Planning." SAP is also the name of the company. The firm is widely recognized as the global leader in enterprise applications in the form of software and services related to software. In terms of market capitalization, SAP would be the third-largest independent software maker in the world." Thanks for your help.
