Annabelle,
Your script for JFW 10 will probably work in JFW 14. Copy the script files
and any other associated files into his settings folder. Then open the
source file on his computer with the application running, and save the
source file to recompile the binary. If you get any errors from the
compiler, you will know that there is a problem with compatibility.
As new versions of JFW are developed, new functions are added to the
scripting language. If script writers use these new functions from later
versions, then the scripts won't be compatible with earlier versions of JFW
without being rewritten. The functions in earlier versions of JFW usually
continue to work in later versions, so going in that direction is less of a
problem.

Subject: Saving Script Files
Hi, it's Annabelle.
I'm wondering, is it possible for me to save a script file for a later
version of JAWS like JAWS 14 in JAWS 10? The reason why I ask is because a
friend of mine wants to test a script file I've made, and his computer has
JAWS 14. Aren't script files supposed to be universal? In other words,
aren't they supposed to be made to work with all versions of JAWS?
