Also, 11 saw major changes in video handling.  I remember this because of the 
problems it caused with Excel and Access.  This factored in my earlier 
discussion of whether or not to do a complete uninstall.

What OS is the system running?  I doubt VIM will work on any recent version of 
windows - possibly to include vista and win7 but certainly including 8 and 8.1)
