Joseph, I haven't gone for W-10 yet. Is there an audio clue when one of
those notifications pops up?

Hi,
Hmmm, how can I explain this...
A toast notification is like a help balloon except it doesn't really act as
such. Once this appears, it'll go away after a few seconds, and you can
actually interact with it by pressing Windows+V while it is shown. You can
ignore them, and if you do, they'll live in Action Center until you clear
them all (pressing Windows+A will open Action Center).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Joseph

So josef, if they don't have help balloons anymore but windows, then does
that mean that I will get a pop up window when something happens wich I must
dismiss?
