Hello, everyone.
I am sure this may seem pretty elementary to some, but I actually have gotten varying opinions on the need to use the "safely remove hardware" option for USB devices such as USB thumb drives, and USB external hard drives. So, I have two questions: 1. Is it still necessary to invoke the "safely remove hardware" option when using any of these USB devices? I have heard that in later operating systems like Windows 7, this is not as necessary as it used to be. And 2. How does one easily get to the "safely remove hardware" option, if it would be a good idea for me to use it? I am using Windows 7 and Jaws 16 here. Thank you!
