Jim, J-Say has extensive documentation on all of the functions supported. It's really some of the best documentation I have ever seen. I believe the cost for J-Say is around $600, I know the price dropped when version 13, the latest version was released. I have not used Dragon by itself, and have not really explored their documentation either. I do know that without J-Say, one would have to use the keyboard to review dictation, and for those who have difficulgty using the keyboard, this would be a problem.

With J-Say, dictation is echoed automatically. I did need to lower my resolution on my Surface Pro, as the default setting was too high, and dictation was not echoed. Once making this adjustment, it works well.
