Foam keyboard stand refers to the foam packing sheets inside the pacmate box. You position the display so it lines up with the cutouts in that piece of foam then place your keyboard or laptop on the foam pad to raise it above the display. It is supposed to make the position of the display and the keyboard easier to work with.
