I understand jaws 17 is now in beta but if I install it will it render my jaws 16 moot? How much risk do I run by downloading the beta? Is the beta version free and can you update improvements for free?

This page has a lot of text but the download links are toward the bottom of this page. It's funny you should ask because I had the same issue yesterday afternoon.
