I haven't experienced the problem of JAWS in a deeper voice, other than when JAWS has had a lot of material to read; then sometimes, it will do that and then sort of catch its breath. The problem I encounter and hope that goes away with 17 is in Outlook, there are times I can't exactly navigate. I get no indication of a space or line. Most of the time, I can run Spell Check, and it gets me back in sync. Occasionally, I just dump my message and start over.
