You can even set it by individual sites, if that melts your butter. That's a
feature I use around here.

While in the Chrome window, go into JAWS quick settings with JAWS key+v, then
press f for "forms mode." Arrow down until you hear something like "Auto
forms." Press spacebar here until you hear "Auto forms manual." Tab to OK and
press enter.

If this isn't clear, please post again.

That might be the source of my issues too...how do you switch from forms mode
to manual?

Greg

Dennis,

The solution I found for the Yahoo page is to switch forms mode from automatic
to manual. Actually, I'd already done that for IE11 and forgotten to do it in
Chrome. However, it makes a much bigger difference in Chrome.

Hello Adrian,
I haven't any experience using Yahoo Finance, but I just visited the site on

a friends computer who is running Windows 7, Google Chrome 64 bit which she
installed yesterday, and Jaws 14. On the website I entered amzn, and it pulled
up Amazon and then we entered MS and it pulled up Morgan Stanley. I assume this
is what it is supposed to do, so Google Chrome appears to be working on the
system I described above. I can't recall which Windows and Jaws versions you
are running.
Best,
Dennis
