Barry and Fred, try these changes to the Eudora.jcf:
1: press insert+numrow6 to bring up the configuration manager.
2: press alt+s for the settings menu
3: press a for advanced settings
4: tab twice and make sure the search for prompt is set to maximum
5: tab again and make sure that include lines is not checked
6: tab to text out delay and change it to 5 (that's where I have it)
7: press enter to exit the settings menu
8: press ctrl+s to save the changes
9: press alt+f4 to exit back to eudora and see if that makes any difference.
