I have recently purchased and installed Flextalk 2.1 from Adaptive Assist.
I have tried to work with the settings for voices and pronunciation from
the Win98 Control Panel, and though I am having basick luck, there are some
problems. It seems when I press Enter on OK in the dialogs, I get thrown
back to the control Panel. Also, I am finding myself losing focus when
using the Apply button. This is most frustrating when I am trying to enter
a large number of words into the pronunciation dictionary. It also seems
that neither JFW nor other utilities recognize my additions. In addition,
I am unable to read my changes with the PC cursor, as what gets read
outloud is not where the PC cursor is set, and sometimes it seems as if
more than one field is read at once. I would appreciate any tips and/or
configs that anyone familiar with FlexTalk could offer. Thanks.
