I'm im need of a Mew comuter systrm. Could someone kindly recommend a
good machinr with reasonabally good configuratin to high ennd
cnfigurations to be used fot the adaptibr techmology. It should be
something that I cam use for the next three to fiber years.
It shouild be able to:
Run JAWS with DECTalk Express
Run Dragon Naturally Speaking (the professional version of this
voice-recognition program)
Run Kurzeil-1000 OCR software (Please recommend a good scanner to work
with it too)
Run ZoomText Xtra Level 2 (the magnification software - as I've some
partial vision)
Office 97, Excel, Access, Netscape and MicroSoft's Internet Explorer. and
Windows 98.
Please specify how much RAM memory I should shop for and goof Video Card
with amount of video memory. make and size of hard-drive. The machine
should not have hardware conflicts. Additional things should be ike a good
soundcard (for lstening to music CDs andRealAudio), a good Voice/fax/Data
modem amd speakers.
I'm very sorry if I'm off topic. I thought of posting it here as many of
you are pratical users of the aboue adaptive products and theefore best
know what I should shop for.
