Listers,
I have given up on finding a solution to my file conversion problem and just
want to get rid of word perfect all together. I will go to word 97 since it
is the industry standared any more.
I am attempting to use the proper channels and remove it through the add and
remove programs utility in the windows 95 control panel, but when I select
all the correl components in its remove utility it spins the drive for about
a minute and a half with lots of hard drive activity, marks the files to be
removed and crashes consistantly at that point. I don't know if it is a
jaws conflict or not.
Can anyone help me get rid of this software and free the much needed hard
drive space? Can I just delete the correl folder off of my C drive and be
rid of the whole lot or will I have other problems?
