What about Webster's Talking Dictionary from Parsons Technology...it uses
the system's sound card to give the correct way to say it, and to read the
definition. JFW works fine with it, as does most other screen readers. I
believe it is about $29 or so.
Their site is http://www.parsonstech.com, and they have lots of
speech-friendly utilities such as Address Book, Atomic clock, StopWatch,
Daily Journal, QuigkVerse Bible, Quicken Family Lawyer, and a hundred or so
other utilities. I like getting materiel through them because they always
have a return policy if I get something that isn't speech-friendly.
