Hi all participants! I have a problem which answer couldn't be found in the
software/hardware archive of this mailing list. I can't get jfw 3.2 and infovox 230 to
work together. The spoken sound is stuttering and chostlike crackling. It's the first
time I've installed infovox 230 to work with jaws. Earlier I have suceccfully managed
to get infovox 220 to work with both jfw 3.0 and 3.2.
The infovox 220 is a SSIL driver dependent software synthesizer but infovox 230 is
relying on MS S (speech) API interface.
The version of my infovox 230 is 1.0. I have checked and the ver. 1.12 is out now,
with fixed bugs and more features. I'm considering to update my version to the new
one. I'm using windows 95 osr 2.
The infovox 230 is working well with the shipped text-to-speech program. Any
suggestion?
