Hi I used to have this problem when reading documents with the apollo2
synth but after getting an updated driver from one of the list members the
problem was solved, so it does appear to be somehow related to the drivers.

Hello,
This has been an old problem for me, however I thought it was confined
to the office series of applications.
Basically, when reading a long document with insert down arrow, for
example, a manual, I start it reading with insert down arrow, and walk
away to do something else, and just let jfw read to me. The problem is,
the dectalk will get to a point then speech will stop. I'm using the
latest drivers, the 4.2cd drivers, and the jfw version is unimportant,
this has been occurring since v3.0.
At first I thought this problem was limited to office applications, but
when I was reading in wordpad I got the same behavior.
Any suggestions.
