Hi All,

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who's been successful at designing
forms in Microsoft Access. In particular, how did you add fields when in
the design view for a new form. I can get as far as choosing the Field
List button from the appropriate toolbar and selecting a list of fields
from the resulting list box. However every manual and online help I read
says that the fields selected from this list must be dragged and dropped
onto the form. Because these fields are in what JFW treats as a list box I
can't find a way to move off of it and back onto the form to accomplish
this and haven't found a similar method to achieve the same result from the
keyboard.

I'm getting to this point by first having defined at least one table with
fields in my data base. Next I choose the Form tab from the main Access
window. From there I choose New and in the subsequent dialog make certain
that Design View is selected in the list box and press tab once to select
my table as the source for fields on the form.

There may be a way to accomplish this from behind the scenes in Access that
I'm not familiar with. I'm not a programmer and am doing this from the
standard user interface of the Access 97 program using JFW 3.2.
