Thanks for the help and knowledge of JFW LIst and my personal partner on
the job, "JAWS" for windows. Below are the details:
if you are willing, I can hire you to help us tweak our
system with JAWS. All we need to do is write up a Scope of Work and know
what your social security number is. This is called a "Personal Services
Contract." You are responsible for any taxes. We issue you a Form 1099 at
the end of the year. I will pay you $20.00 an hour, not to exceed 50
hours. If you are interested, I will write up a letter to this effect,
then we can talk about a time frame.
I accepted thankfully on Wednesday January 13th 1999. The above text is
a section of an E-mail that I received a week ago today. I have been
learning JFW on my personal time, while trying to get the best education
that I can get. It has been a long hard year, and I had several messages
in to this list for not only my personal PC, but also for my college PC.
With an unexpected loss of vision on Thursday of last week, I am still
fully able to use my computer because of JFW. Thanks for a great team!
