Hi,
In many cases, the prompt reading problem can be greatly improved by configuring JFW
to do a maximum search
prompts, instead of the default extended search. Here is how to accomplish the task
for the application in question:
1.
Start the problematic application, so that the correct JFW configuration file will be
saved or modified.
2.
Press insert-6 to open the configuration manager.
3.
Press alt-s to pull down the Settings menu.
4.
Press a to open the Advanced options dialog.
5.
Press tab until you hear the prompt search field.
6.
Press down arrow to set this control to maximum search.
7.
Press enter to accept the change and dismiss the dialog.
8.
Press control-s to save the change to the JFW configuration file for the currently
running application.
See if this change improves the reading of prompts. Regards.
