I finally did it. This week I upgraded to jfw3.2, and I must be some kind
of clutz, since I have the choice of synthesizers of eloquence and no
speech. I first chose the custom installation, but I was trying to do it
with the Access32 as my primary speech synthesizer only to learn after many
attempts that I was using the upgrade floppy diskette instead of the purple
authorization diskette. I failed about five or six times in upgrading using
the Doctor JAWS on the CD. Finally, by this time I was so frustrated trying
the custom install I decided to install using the automatic feature.
It said it would load jfw32 and eloquence, which is not what I wanted, but I
did it anyway.
Now in jfw32 I am seemingly stuck with eloquence! After using DECtalk
Access 32 for a long while I find nothing eloquent about eloquence.
Could someone tell me step by step how to get Access32 installed into jfw32,
so that I could have it as my primary synthesizer?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
