Dale,
You are in the wrong of the 2 chat modes supported. I believe that IRC
style is what you want. Then a simple say all switch and you should be
chatting away.

At the moment I am trying to use icq with jfw 3.2 and windows 95. When
someone chats with me it reads out their typing a letter at a time and my
typing goes over the top of them in speaking.
