Hi. I'm new to JFW and have been playing with the 40-minute demo version. Yesterday I tried to add some custom controls from Visual Basic to the reclassed list of controls. For instance, I wanted a masked edit control to look like a regular edit control so far as JFW was concerned. Initially I did the reclassing in the particular VB program I'd written's configuration file. Then I got the bright idea that if I did the reclassing in the DEFAULT file I could have it be in effect across all Visual Basic applications I might care to run. However, the reclassing didn't seem to work when I did it in the default file instead of the program specific one. Is there something I'm missing? Shouldn't this work? Thanks for any help.
