I Don't believe that it is the MSAA upgrade causing the select a frame
dialog not to work properly. I don't have the 1.2 version of MSAA and I had
the same problem with the 31 patch along with several other problems. I'm
currently back to Jaws 3.2.09 and I think from now on I'm just going to
leave well enough alone!

Subject: Problems with insert-f9 and IE 4.01: an MSAA problem?
Hi,
Well, I am back to IE 4.01, due to the inability to route the JAWS cursor to
the currently focused link. This feature works
correctly in IE 4.01, but not in IE 5 Beta 2. Thus, I am back to the
insert-f9 problem, where it produces a listbox
containing 0 items, even though I am in a framed Web page.
I think I know when this particular aspect went to pot. A little over a
month ago, I got the Active Accessibility 1.2
update. It was provided on the Windows Update site for Windows 98. Was
this a mistake? Does this not work
correctly in IE 4.01? Apparently, it does work fine in IE 5, because the
insert-f9 problem was gone when I was using that
version. Anyhow, what version of Active Accessibility should I be using?
Where should I obtain it? Finally, how do I
remove Active Accessibility 1.2 to install the correct version? Thanks for
any help.
