I can't really have been very clear in my original e-mail.

These buttons are actual physical buttons on the keyboard, not icons etc.
The instant internet button is on the front of the keyboard and the instant
e-mail button is achieved by pressing the laptop "function" key and F2.
Instant internet can also be achieved by pressing the laptop "function" key
and F1.

This laptop "function" key also controls brightness, contrast, tint, colour
etc. Incidentally, these functions work fine.
