Get rid of Office Assistant in Office 97

Hello,
   I disable the office assistant by renaming the Actors folder to
Dead_Actors - THe full path is:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Actors
Becomes:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Dead_Actors
All of those little Assistants should stop popping up all over the place!

   I know you can accomplish this in other ways, but renaming the folder
can be done over the network, et.
