eudora and addressbook with jfw continued

Well, it seems like I can get to the addressbook fields, but they don't
speak. I can input info into them, and even save the file. Hitting f6
doesn't work to bring focus to the fields, but I have memorized them
anyway. This is on a laptop. All the desktops I have tried work, even my
home system. Could this be a video driver issue with a laptop? That is my
only theory at the moment.
