There is a speech-friendly Calendar/Journal program from Parsons Technology
that needs no scripts. It's named "Daily Journal" and some of it's features
are:
*Automatically loads with the current's day loaded.
*Allows Bookmarks.
*Searches by date, topic, bookmark, or text.
*Keyboard commands to operate all features.
*Built-in spell-check capabilities.
*Password specific Journal files.
*Several Journal files opened at the same time, with easy keyboard commands
to jump from file-to-file. For example, you may want Appointments,
Birthdays/Holidays, Travel Expense notes, and Recipes all opened at the same
time. Since st is so much like a database, you can create different files
for different subjects--like I have one that keeps track of my children's
checkup notes and medications; a file for daily appointments; a file for the
many list servers and their subscribe/unsubscribe addresses; Emergency phone
numbers; Office expenses; and so on.
*Costs only $29.
This is really a neat tool, and the good thing about Parsons Technology is
that if you don't like it, you can send it back for a full refund, (minus
shipping).
