I have never seen/heard the below message when opening Word but a couple
months ago
( I think it was after I installed the 19 patch )Word 97 started saying
"unknown function call to collection status"& JFW still makes this
announcement at various times (there doesn't seem to be any set pattern as
to when the announcement is made). I have had sighted people present when
the announcement is made & they do not see any such message anywhere on the
screen.
I sent a message about this quirk to this list but never received any
suggested solutions so I sent a message to HJ & their suggestion was to
reinstall JFW 32 using the CD so I would be sure to have the latest Word 97
scripts.
Well I reinstalled JFW 32 & it made absolutely no difference as far as the
random announcement "Unknown function call to collection status"so I have
gotten accustomed to hearing the announcement so I just ignore it & go
about whatever I was doing, since it doesn't seem to have any effect on the
operation of anything I am doing in Word 97.
This somewhat lengthy post does not offer any answers to your Query but
maybe someone on the list will have help for both of us.
