Good evening listers I am appealing for some help with editing a dectalk dictionary called "dtalk_us.dic" which belongs to Dectalk Access 32. My partner is irritated by some of the exceptions that have been written into this file and so would like to change them. The complication is that it is not just a text file, pulling it up in a text editor does not yeild something that can be easily edited. My partner then emailed HJ about this, but they replied back and washed their hands of by return of email saying they don't really support Dectalk Access 32 beyond getting it working with JFW despite taking �175 for it last year. I am hoping that someone may have some software that edits the dictionaries for a Dectalk Express which I might be able to get hlold of and try and edit this file. Any help would be much apreciated.
