I have found ICQ to be fairly intuitve to learn, but as mentioned by another
poster, JFW incorrectly identifying the various controls... especially the
check box versus tab mixup makes it much more difficult than it should be.
Unfortunately you cant simply tab through the controls and tabs of the
dialog boxes like in conventional windows apps.

yes, if you left click on a checkbox, it should work. if it is called a
tab, it is nonfunctional in that pain. in icq, you can have a couple of
windows open at once and one inside the other. if you are in preffs,
you probably go there by opening one window and then another and then
another. close the outer window and it gets better.
Icq is unusually friendly in its own way but quite complicated to learn.
