Hi,
That is a rather interesting problem. Even with the high amount of
memory, you could have a user resource shortage due to a relatively slow
processor and/or possibly low amount of remaining hard disk storage. Do
you have lots of programs starting when the computer boots? Here is how
to check the percentage of free resources on your computer:
1.
Press control-escape to open the Start menu.
2.
Arrow down to Settings and press enter.
3.
Choose Control Panel.
4.
Choose the System icon.
5.
Press control-tab to move to the Performance page.
6.
Read the screen with the JAWS cursor to find the percentage of free
resources.
If your resources are running low, you can reduce the number of
applications running at boot time. There may be other steps that can be
taken to relieve this problem, if more about your system is known. Before
that, try these steps, and let us know how it is working.
Regards.
