I've been wondering about the active graphics toggle in JFW. Would someone explain what specifically it does, why it is needed, and whether there are plans to eliminate the need for a user to have to experiment with this toggle? Using insert f4 to switch to active graphics mode is quite effective for me. This can also be set up semi-permanently in the graphics and symbols dialog of the config manager.
