Backing up Outlook Express folders
Protecting one's files is important as is saving one's folders in
Outloook Express. So to save folders from Inbox to let's say Viedo Cards
Info, copy this folder "c:\windows\application
data\identities\_______________\mail . If one is confused about the "blank"
denoted bythe underline, each person has his or her own 32-character
alpha-numberic number which one would see exactly where the underline is
before the "\mail". So one should copy the folder "mail\" to where one
wishes to put it.
Using anothe example, if one wishes to copy the "Inbox", this is
easier. One goes to "c:\windows\apllication
data\identities\__________\mail\inbox.dbx". If one copies that file, one has
copied the single file Inbox. One only copies the file nameed "inbox.dbx.
The long file path is mentioned above to only help locate the "mail\"
folder or, second example, the "inbox.dbx" file so that these can be
copied.
