Re: slow response with eloquence

Another problem with Eloquence is that, at least on
my system, it will begin spelling after reading a half-page of data.  It
starts out with something like:

    \ O A D B \" ...

and is catapaulted into spelling mode.

I have no idea what is triggering this, I am using a Matrox Millenium
and SoundBlaster.
