I had originally decided to stay off this topic because, if the truth be known, I'm not sure it is within the pervue of the guidelines, but... can't stay away from a good discussion. Anyway, I don't particularly like the idea of limiting the number of submissions a person can make. If I have the answer to four questions that have been posed, then some slob out there is going to have to go without an answer because of a technicality. I, for one, would like to see Nick take a stronger hand in who does and does not subscribe to this list. Three off topic warnings in a three month period, and you're out of here. But, that's putting a lot on Nick, and I suspect that this list is not as much fun for him as it once was. The real solution depends on us all. We can act responsibly, or we can not. Acting responsibly means not responding to a message that is obviously off topic. Acting responsibly means checking first to see if a question has been answered correctly. (I am guilty of reading a message and typing ctrl+r to reply, only to find that some one else has responded better than I did.) But I shall try to do better in the future. This list use to be a lot of fun. Now, it's rather a chore. Maybe if we all acted a little more responsibly, it could be fun again.
