Hi Debbie,
Toggling home row on and off, can cause you great confusion. Home
row--often referred in hj literature as the utility scripts--is a way to
find out details about your windows environment. It is only used by script
writers trying to find out about their particular environment.
There is a pretty good write up about this in the document "customizing
jaws" in your c:\jfw32\manuals\enu\custom.doc. I brought up that document
and did a find on "home row" and found it.
If, after checking out this document, you still have questions, write me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED], and I'll see if I can help you.
Hope this helps.
Bob
