I don't understand this, but maybe somebody will. I have two computers, one is using
the dectalk pc1 board, and the other is using the accent pc board. Both are using jfw
3.2.31, now, when I come up in windows 95, for some reason they don't read the same
things.
Another problem, on the computer that is using the accent pc with jfw 3.2.31, I went
to the msdos prompt icon on the desktop, and set a control-alt-d hotkey by
highlighting the msdos prompt, then pressing alt-enter, and going to the hot key spot,
and setting it up, and it says the hotkey is ctrl-alt-d. Now, when I attempt to use
the hot key, it says that I am at the msdos prompt, but I can't get the keyboard to
respond, then when I type exit, I seem to be in windows, because jfw says nothing is
in focus. Apparently the msdos prompt is not really closed down, because if I attempt
to shut down windows, I get the improper shutdown message, and I have to run norton
disk doctor again. When in windows, and I go to the task bar, I can arrow through
jaws, and I get the msdos prompt on there also, which indicates it is not closed. but
I can't get into there to close it. It tells me to press tab end or something like
that, so the only way I can get it to close is to tab until I h!
ere end, then press enter. I never have this problem on the computer with the
dectalk, and I don't understand what the synthesizer has to do with all of this. I
hope that somebody can help me.
