Occasionally, for no apparent reason, JAWS stops speaking. I have to go to Multimedia on the Control Panel and adjust the "playback" sound. We have two identical computers with Windows 95 and jfw 3.2. This only happens on one of them. Is this a jfw or a windows problem?. I am a sighted instructor and can easily do this. But it is very difficult for my blind students to realize what is happening and get to multimedia while the sound is off.
