Regarding the extra fifteen seconds at the time of boot up, it happens to me, also. Since it is only 15 seconds of time used, I have come to accept it as the nature of the beast. I suppose all that additional booting up stuff, the additional grinding, drumming and clicking of the computer, can be changed by being sure jfw is the very last thing to boot up. But I don't know how to do that. In the meantime, until the beast's nature can be changed, I will tolerate it.
