I was reading with much interest the various comments on viedo cards.
The comments always tend to suggest that people use the most favorite video
card that Henter Joyce suggests--the matrox brand--which is the most tested
brand for use with JAWS. Well, what if one has other software that does not
work well with the Matrox card--having no inherent prejudices one way or the
other regarding any brand of video card. I think we are entitled to know how
much compatability there really is between a major brand of viedo card and
the excellent JAWS software. By now surely, there must be other cards to
give us a wider array of choices beyond the most favorite viedo card brand.
I think more resources should be directed toward the testing of more
cards so that people don't have to buy certain video cards just to use with
JAWS since JAWS is so viedo card dependent.
I do like the software very much but believe we should have maximum
options.
