on the win 98 cd rom is the resource sampler tools. the clip board tool allows you to storee and organize chuncks of text and copy them into text based files. use the link checck wizard to make sure your short cuts are o k. the quick tray allows you to add items, programs, documents, and u r ls to the system tray. tweek u i all this in the tools resource directory on the cd rom. well i posted this before, and wonder if anybody had success useing these utilities with jfw. i can tell you the download was not easy. by the way the article was not accurate, to find this stuff do this hit the win 98 start key hit letter r for run backspace type in the letter where your 98 cd rom is. actually type in e:\ then hit enter if e is the first cd rom drive you have. arrow down to tools, if you have trouble hit page down or letter t. hit enter on tools, the hit letter r for resource if you land on reskit you are in the right place, hit enter now arrow down to readme.doc save this file, so one can read how to use this stuff. i picked save as, and changed the name to readme4.doc now their is also a set up . exe file that can install some of this stuff in program files. you may want to read the readme.doc file first. well i am writeing this because i was not clear on the location of the file the first time. hope this helps out for those that could not find it. bill cameron a good share ware program, safe install 98 cost 20 dollars from i win software monitors dll files and makes back ups. it can recover the correct dll automatically or let the end user do it. - Visit the jfw ml web page: http://jfw.cjb.net
